In our natural state, we are all glorious beings. We are all meant to shine. Yoga, the ancient science of balanced living, allows our inner self to shine through. In practice, yoga does not bring about a new condition or reality and it doesn't add something that is not already within you. Instead, its a process of letting go all that which is weighing us down. It is only when these burdens--manifesting as physical and emotional pain and disease, are stripped away that the true you begins to be revealed. Only then, are we are able to reveal the true genius at your core.

As a science, yoga is a proven technique for exposing and teaching our bodies to remember sustainable ways to build a better physical self. As an art, it is an open and inviting methodology that we as people can use to creatively participate in the process of reunion and remembering. The union of these two processes and the combined effect they have on the body, mind and soul is often more effective for enriching our overall health than traditional approaches.

The overall approach has a combined effect that can best be described as subtractive in nature. In other words, it's not so much what you add, but what you take away. The great artist Michelangelo was once questioned about how he created his masterpiece David. His response was that the masterpiece was actually hidden in the marble the whole time. The beauty inherent in David was simply revealed through the process of methodically chipping away at all of the excess marble until he was finally discovered.

At Fahrenheit Yoga, our approach is much the same: we work with you to remove all that no longer serves you until your inner best is revealed.
